This project demonstrates my ability to design simple yet functional eCommerce websites that meet client expectations by focusing on usability, brand alignment, and an enhanced shopping experience.
Strategy
The goal of this project was to redesign a WooCommerce-based eCommerce site, ensuring a professional design that aligns with the client’s brand and effectively showcases both new and top-selling products. The strategy focused on optimizing product presentation and building essential pages to provide a complete shopping experience. We aimed to create a fast, user-friendly website that encourages conversions while maintaining smooth navigation throughout the customer journey.
Design
The design approach centered on simplicity, elegance, and functionality. The homepage was revamped to feature new arrivals and best-sellers, helping customers quickly find popular products. Each page—Shop, Product, Cart, Checkout, and Product Category—was designed to be visually consistent and easy to use. The color palette and typography were chosen to reflect the brand’s identity, ensuring a cohesive and professional look.
User Experience (UX)
To enhance UX, I focused on optimizing page load speeds and ensuring the site was responsive across all devices. Intuitive navigation was implemented to guide users smoothly through the shopping process. Robust search functionality and product filters were added, making it easy for customers to browse and find exactly what they need. Special attention was given to creating a frictionless checkout process to improve conversion rates.
